About the event

Live art event inspired by strong Norwegian sex-appeal. A NEW TO OSLO live art event that combines performance, fine art and cocktails. Presented by Calum Macniven - queer East London artist as seen in Dazed, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK + Selfridges, and featuring strong woman extraordinaire Freya Stokka. Drawing inspiration from queer bodies, costuming and set design using sustainable materials. This class will centre around The Viking, played by a performance artist dressed in couture fashions by a London costumier. With The Viking arranged into different positions and scenes, attendees are given the opportunity to explore the body shapes and scenery with techniques ranging from fine detail work to abstract mark-making. A variety of materials will be provided for every session, and are either sustainable sourced or handmade. Each attendee will receive a collection of papers to work on as well as drawing tools including: pencils, charcoal, chinagraph, and some other surprises along the way.
