Derfor kan selv et halvt år uten deep house-ambassadørene føles som en evighet, særlig når sjappa sjeldent blir like tettpakka som når de står bak spakene. Fun fact: I sin tid som The Villas bookingsjef huket Tore tak i bryllupssangeren Omar Souleyman, og dro koblingen mellom syrisk dabke og acid house lenge før noen andre skjønte bæret. Ansvaret for å gjøre folk varme i trøya hviler på skuldrene Robin C, som praktisk talt er fast inventar på The Villa. I kraft av å være en kriminelt kompetente veteraner fra Oslo klubbundergrunn. —Robin C— Robin Crafoord is one half of Trulz & Robin, a Norwegian electronic music duo known for their unique blend of techno, house, and ambient. Born in Gothenburg, Sweden, Crafoord developed a deep love for music at a young age, and was working in Black market records during the day and arranging raves at night. In 1998, Crafoord moved to Oslo and started making music with fellow musician and soon-to-be collaborator Truls Kvam. Together, the duo formed Trulz & Robin, quickly gaining attention in the Norwegian electronic music scene for their innovative sound and live performances. Their debut album, "Mechanized world" released in 2002, was met with critical acclaim and established them as one of the most exciting acts in the genre. Over the years, Crafoord and Kvam continued to push the boundaries of electronic music, releasing several acclaimed albums and EPs. Crafoord's contributions to Trulz & Robin's sound have been significant, incorporating elements of acid and techno into their music while maintaining a strong melodic presence. His improvisation skills also bring a unique live energy to the duo's performances. With over two decades of experience under his belt, Robin Crafoord continues to be a driving force in the Norwegian —Malo— Malo er en ny collab mellom to trance-hoder som lengter etter å spille house. Det hele startet i sommer med en fest i Oslos østmark sammen med Project90. Fridtjof har de siste årene vært aktiv i klubbscenen i Madrid med kollektivet/labelet Eigenblau. Dr DJ har sluppet musikk på Eigenblau og Groove Estate. På instagram under @malo4riders deler de glemte og undervurderte tunes så dere andre DJs slipper å grave selv.
