Cherry Cinema + Brewgata = ❤ The third year makes a tradition, right? The past two autumns alt rock band Cherry Cinema has hosted gatherings at Brewgata to celebrate new and old releases. This year they are celebrating with an open tiny desk concert on October 23rd! Come and see the band play stripped down versions of heard and unheard songs, and mark the start of a tradition! It’s lowkey, it’s quirky and it’s free! In 2023, Cherry Cinema released their debut album, Crystal Clear, featuring the P3-listed track Don't Do It, which has garnered over 500 plays on Norwegian radio. Following the album, their first single in the new era, Relapse, was released in August 2024 to enthusiastic reception from both radio stations and the press. The single had its world premiere on NRK P13, was playlisted on NRK P3 and Radio 102, received a 6/6 rating from Høyttaler Music Magazine, and earned a recommendation from GAFFA. In their new era, which started last year with Relapse, they have now released four singles, and the apparent audience favorite is Game Over, which leans more into their alt rock, emo sound. Luckily this is the sound you can expect to hear from Cherry Cinema going forward
