Hotline TNT kommer til Oslo og John Dee 30. oktober! Det New York-baserte indiebandet, med Will Anderson i front, slipper sitt tredje album Raspberry Moon 20. juni på Third Man Records. Førstesingelen «Julia's War» er ute nå, og Anderson har kommet med følgende kommentar: «In a world of half-hearted hooks, and buried-in-the-mix vocals, we had to muster the courage to do what the rest of the shoegaze community could not… We looked out to the stadium and reassured the audience: Our voices, together, will be heard. You've never heard a TNT chorus this straightforward - when we stress-tested it during the writing process, the ‘try not to sing along challenge’ came back with a 100% fail rate.» Raspberry Moon er det mest omfattende Hotline TNT-albumet til dags dato, og ikke minst det første som fullt band. Denne gangen ble livebesetningen noe uventet med Will Anderson i studioet. Han hadde opprinnelig tenkt å lage enda et album på egenhånd, men kom raskt til konklusjonen om at Hotline TNT nå var et band – og dette var bandet. Hotline TNT slo igjennom for alvor med albumet Cartwheel (2023), som fikk kjempekritikker: «Will Anderson amplifies everyday heartbreak with towering shoegaze and supersized power-pop anthems that demand to be played loud.» – Pitchfork «The way this album combines big, bracing distortion and hummable tunes could make any Hüsker Dü fan smile.» – Rolling Stone «[Cartwheel] is an exhilarating blend of driving indie and alt-rock, power-pop, and shoegaze… Anderson’s deft songwriting [makes] feeling bad sound so good.» – SPIN -- Bill. kr. 250,- + bill.avg. 18 års aldersgrense med legitimasjonsplikt.
